We hold a variety of really interesting, and entertaining, events throughout the year - all of which are open to the general public who are more than welcome to come along and meet us. You would all be assured of a very warm welcome.
During the year, in March and November, we hold two splendid combined coffee mornings / open days
which are proving to be extremely popular events, attracting very many visitors to The Rest from far and wide.
This year we will be holding our next event on
THURSDAY
11th MARCH 2010
10.00am - 4.00pm
This is a brilliant chance to combine a social event with the opportunity to explore this exceptional building with Guided Tours and Fantastic Presentations of The Rest, both past and present, staged for your information and enjoyment.
Coffee and fresh scones will be served through the morning and can be obtained with a ticket for just £1.50, your ticket is then entered into our free prize draw.
why not come along and enjoy the company of friends and staff while you wander around the many fascinating christmas craft stalls, each displaying locally produced handcrafted gifts.
Afterwards you can make your visit complete by sampling our much acclaimed catering with a suburb
two course Buffet Lunch at a very reasonable £7.00
which also includes tea or coffee. because of the numbers that do enjoy lunch with us
