One of the many features of The Rest is that it has a variety of spacious Lounges, all on the ground floor, and all of which have magnificent sea views.
As the name suggests, this is a bright, sunny, airy room, with wonderful views of Rest Bay. The walls of the room are of the original external stonewalls of The Rest.
During one of our recent refurbishment programmes, the Sun Lounge was given a major make over, with the stonework, and the window frames, painted to give a truly Mediterranean feel.
This is a splendid room, which is extremely popular with our guests, and is ideal just to sit in and relax.
An elegantly furnished tranquil room, which is wonderful for those who just wish to spend some time in peace and quiet. The ideal place, where you can sit in our relaxing easy chairs in absolute comfort, to maybe read your morning newspaper, or to indulge in one of the many good books, that are freely available for your use and leisure.
